How is my data handled?
We store your files in an encrypted format on AWS S3. We do not share or sell your data to any third party. Data is sent out of Knibble in two cases: when you upload a file, data is chunked and stored in a third-party vector database; and when you ask a question, relevant data chunks are sent to a third-party AI model to generate an answer.
Which model is used by Knibble.ai?
We use OpenAI's GPT-3.5-turbo model to generate answers. GPT-4 support will be available soon.
Can I use my own OpenAI API key?
Yes, we support BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) on all paid plans. Please refer to our pricing page for more details.
What data formats are supported?
You can upload multiple PDF or text files, or add a link to your website to be scraped.
Can I add my chatbot to my website?
Yes, you can embed an iframe or add a chat bubble to the bottom right of your website. Please refer to the demo video for more details.
Can I personalize my chatbot?
Yes, you can add your own instructions to the chatbot using our 'Persona' feature. This allows you to provide a custom prompt (up to 500 characters) included in each query to the AI model.

What is BYOK and how much does it cost?
BYOK stands for 'Bring Your Own Key' and is available for $15 per month, allowing users to utilize their own OpenAI key with Knibble.ai.
What features are included in the BYOK plan?
The BYOK plan includes unlimited questions, files, URLs, 1 GB total storage, 50 embeddable chatbots, 40 MB file size per upload, all chatbot customizations, and the option to remove Knibble.ai branding.
What private hosting solutions does Knibble.ai offer?
Knibble.ai offers private hosted and self-hosted solutions. For the private hosted option, Knibble.ai manages the infrastructure, while the self-hosted option gives you the flexibility and control to host and manage the application yourself.
